The Morley Home
Privacy & cookies
This notice explains how The Morley Home uses information when you browse this UK-based recipe website or contact us. For privacy questions or requests, use our contact form.
Information we use
Our hosting provider, DreamHost, processes technical information such as IP addresses, browser details, requested pages and access times to deliver the website, maintain security and diagnose problems. If you contact us, we process the name, email address and message you provide to respond to your enquiry. Please do not send sensitive personal or medical information.
Why we use it
We use technical information for our legitimate interests in operating a reliable and secure website. We use correspondence to respond to messages and manage reasonable follow-up. Contact details are not added to a marketing list simply because you send a message.
Hosting and service providers
The website is hosted by DreamHost in the United States. Hosting and email providers may process information on our behalf. Information may therefore be processed outside the UK, subject to applicable data-protection requirements and the providers’ arrangements. We do not sell your contact details.
Cookies and similar technologies
The public recipe site does not currently use advertising or analytics tracking cookies. WordPress uses necessary cookies for authorised administrator sign-in. Some forms use security tokens, and brief security rate-limiting information is processed to help prevent abuse. We do not currently offer public user accounts or recipe comments.
Future advertising
If advertising or other tracking tools are introduced, this notice will be updated and any consent required for those tools will be requested before they are enabled. An advertising service will not be introduced simply by accepting this notice.
How long we keep information
We retain correspondence only for as long as reasonably needed to deal with an enquiry and any related record-keeping or legal requirements, and review it periodically. Technical logs follow our hosting and security providers’ retention settings.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law gives you rights to request access to, correction or deletion of your personal information, restrict or object to processing, and complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. Contact us to make a request.
